Market Building
The Market Building is your go-to place to unlock powerful boosts and resources for your city using Gems or Cups. From speeding up construction to hiding your army, the Market offers a variety of cards to enhance your gameplay. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of it!
Market Basics
City-Specific Effects: Cards purchased in the Market only affect the city where the Market is located. For example, buying a card in City A won’t impact City B.
Shared Balance: Your Gem and Cup balances are shared across all cities, not tied to a specific city.
Insufficient Balance: If you don’t have enough Gems or Cups, the purchase button will be disabled, or you’ll receive a warning.
15-Day Cycle: The Market operates on a 15-day cycle, starting when the Market is built in a city:
A timer at the top of the Market menu shows the remaining time in the cycle.
Available cards and their purchase limits reset every 15 days.
Balance Display: The Market shows your current Gem balance (same as your account balance) and Cup balance (earned from Alliance Wars or other activities).
Card Mechanics
Card Availability: Upgrading the Market Building unlocks new cards and higher-tier versions. Each card has a limited purchase quantity per 15-day cycle.
Timed Cards:
Cards with duration-based effects (e.g., 12 hours, 1 day) turn gray when active, with a timer showing the remaining duration.
A warning appears on the right side of the game screen 30 minutes before a timed card expires.
You cannot reactivate a timed card until its current duration ends.
Purchase Limits: Each card shows a counter (e.g., 3/3). After purchasing, the counter decreases (e.g., 2/3). When the limit reaches 0, the card turns gray until the next 15-day cycle.
Resource Cards: Resources like Wheat, Wood, Stone, Iron, Elixir, or Civilization Points are added to the city’s storage:
If the storage is full, excess resources are lost.
Only the amount that fits in the storage is used, and the rest is discarded.

Key Notes
Strategic Planning: Cards are city-specific, so choose wisely which city needs a particular boost. For example, use a Shield card in a vulnerable city or a Resource card in a city with low storage.
Resource Management: Ensure your city’s storage has enough space before buying resource cards to avoid wasting resources.
Timed Boosts: Plan your use of timed cards (e.g., Attack Power or Production Boost) to maximize their impact during critical moments, like Alliance Wars or resource shortages.
Upgrade Benefits: Higher Market levels unlock more powerful cards, so upgrading the Market is key to accessing advanced boosts like the Golden Hammer or Gold-tier boosts.
