Messages Menu
The Messages Menu is your hub for communication and battle reports in the game. Accessible via the Messages Button on the city screen, it allows you to send messages, view reports, and stay updated on alliance and system events. Here’s everything you need to know to navigate this menu and stay connected!
Accessing the Messages Menu
Click the Messages Button on the city screen to open the Messages Menu, which has four pages: Send Messages, Personal Messages, Battle Reports, and System/Alliance Events.
A green badge above the Personal, Reports, and Events tabs shows the number of unread messages (up to 99, then +99 for more).
Sending Messages
This page is for writing and sending messages to other players or your alliance.
Features
Input fields for the message text and recipient username.
If you’re an Co-Leader, or Leader in an alliance, a checkbox appears to send to all alliance members.
Checking the alliance box disables the username field, and the message is sent to the Events tab of all alliance members’ Messages Menu.
Process
Write your message, select a recipient or check the alliance box (if applicable), and click Send.
Sent messages appear in the recipient’s Events tab for alliance-wide messages.
Personal Messages
This page displays messages received from other players
Deleting Chats
Each message thread has a Delete button.
Clicking Delete shows a prompt: “Do you agree to delete the chat?” with Yes and Cancel buttons (no close button).
Deleting removes the chat only for you. If the other player sends a new message, the chat reappears with all previous messages intact.
Battle Reports
This page shows reports from battles, including attacks you launched, attacks on your city, and interactions with Artemis Camps.
Click a report to view details on the right.
Report Structure
Troop Tables: Show troop counts (from left to right: Infantry, Swordsman, Maceman, Archer, King, Horseman, Knight, Spy, Battering Ram, Catapult, Balloon, Advisor).
Green Section: Your sent troops and their losses.
Red Section: Your troops killed.
Left Side: Your troops. Right Side: Opponent’s troops.
War Machines: a text summary at the end details their impact (e.g., building damage).
Actions
Share: Share the report to the Alliance Chat
Delete: Delete the report
System and Alliance Events
This page displays system messages from the game and alliance-wide messages sent by Co-Leaders, or Leaders.
Layout
Messages are listed from newest to oldest (top to bottom).
Only the last 20 messages are shown; older messages are deleted.
Content
System messages include game updates or notifications.
Alliance messages are sent via the Send to Alliance checkbox on Page 1 (by Co-Leaders, or Leaders).
Key Notes
Notifications: The green badge helps you quickly see unread messages or reports, so you don’t miss critical updates.
Alliance Communication: Leaders and Co-Leaders can broadcast important messages to the entire alliance, making the Events tab a key tool for coordination.
Report Sharing: Sharing battle reports in the Alliance Chat (with color-coded indicators: blue for protected, green for your attacks, red for others) keeps your alliance informed of your victories or threats.
Message Management: Deleting chats or reports is one-sided, so you can clear your inbox without affecting others, but new messages will restore the conversation.
